<p>1/ The first way to write music for films is global.</p>
<p>2/ You watch the movie from beginning to end.</p>
<p>3/ And then, without watching the picture, you write the music&#8230;</p>
<p>4/ &#8230;from the memory of the sensation you had watching it.</p>
<p>5/ You don&#8217;t write the music for a scene, you compose it to &#8220;tell&#8221; the story.</p>
<p>6/ Then scene by scene, you built the music with elements of the main theme.</p>
<p>7/ You can also use the same process on a scene by scene basis.</p>
<p>8/ You watch a scene, get away from it, write the music, and get back to it.</p>
<p>9/ This method takes longer but gives the best musical results.</p>
<p>10/ Next time we&#8217;ll see a faster method for tv low cost series.</p>
