This light-hearted anime revolves in a typical ups and downs of high school life- academics, friendships and love.

15-year old Yukino Miyazawa is known for being ‘Ms. Perfect’. She is definitely smart, sporty, attractive and with sparking and awe-inspiring personality – the best at everything! Yukino LOVES to hear praises and she would do anything to maintain this vain position.

However, there’s one thing, er, person who blocks her way to her ever-wanted recognition. Along comes, Souichirou Arima. the only person who can outdo her in everything. He is the chosen representative for the whole freshmen class. Accidentally, Souichirou discovered Yukino’s best kept secret- she’s not what she seems to be at school. Yukino carefully maintains a perfect facade when at school but a whole lot opposite when at home. The guy used it in order to blackmail Yukino.

As the story progresses, he confessed that the central purpose of his blackmailing scheme is just to keep Yukino close to him. Souichirou has feelings for her. Then, Yukino concluded that she too has the mutual feeling. As a couple, they tried to act true to their identities. But just like any normal high school relationships, they have issues that would either keep them together or tear them apart.
